dmxratedSomehow, up until yesterday, I had been to the Item World and the main story a lot more often than the Dark Assembly; I'm already at chapter 7, had upgraded 17 different items, but had only proposed Raise Military Funds thrice, taken one promotion exam, made plans for two characters to recruit, and never once checked the senator list.
Naturally, I started to wonder if something was wrong with my dice, even though I use three different ones within the Overlord's Castle. So, I tested two of them, but while I did land some numbers more than others, I still got a decent number of each that I tallied up.
And then, I actually landed 1 three times within the castle. First was for Laharl to take a promotion exam.
The second was for Hoggmeiser to recruit an Earth Defense Force Space Marine, which requires levelling a lower-tier EDF Soldier to 200, the lowest of whom is unlocked when someone reaches skill level 30 with guns. Good thing Laharl was already using one and had already reached 10; I also attached an Armsmaster to an upgraded Protector he had on, which already had another attached, and he's climbed one more skill level since.
The third was for Hoggmeiser to recruit a Ghast, which you can only hunt on B1-40 in the Item World through something ranked 15-38. No such items are currently available in the hospital, and most of them become available at store rank 5, so I gave him the honor of taking a promotion exam and then passing More Expensive Stuff four times, the first by force. My customer rank was at 4, so I wasn't able to propose it a fifth time, and so I did some shopping at the armor shop, and wound up getting two such items anyway.
I accessed the Item World through a Stealth Cape, and killed three out of the required 30 (leaving whenever none appeared) and upgrading it to level 4 before using up my remaining Mr. Gency's Exits (after having given most of my common ones away in the senate). This is also the first time I was ever able to pursue that.
This morning, one of my Prinnies, Judas, has put it on, so I scoured my inventory for other sufficiently-ranked items. The only new one was a rare Bow of Justice that I had won from the bonus gauge, and I went with that automatically, instead of a common Bandit's Hand that has only 30 floors to explore, can't carry as many specialists, and can't be equipped and thus cannot provide stat boosts, leaving only accuracy relevant to its actual use.
And I went on to win a new Mr. Gency's Exit by clearing out the 10th floor of a rare Bushido Lance. I am going directly to the Item World soon as I continue the game.
