dmxratedBrian and I went to Waffles & Soul for lunch yesterday.
At first, the sign on the door said it was closed, despite being 39 minutes after its designated opening time, but I went up to verify, and someone said that it is in fact open.
Ordered a Classic (waffle and chicken tenders) w/ a side each of mac 'n' cheese and candied yams. Brian ordered the same main course, but I didn't notice which sides he ordered.
It took more than half an hour for our orders to come through, and we only had 23 minutes to eat up before we had to leave for a meeting Brian had coming up.

Noticed quite by accident what was clearly a wasp nest on this rowboat we have in our backyard, and scraped it off with a twig. (How else would a small mound of topsoil form on something well above the ground and that we never even moved around for some length of time?)
