dmxratedThere's nothing like having a good episode of hyperactivity. Just a few minutes ago, Mom was watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy on an old, defective videotape that kept flashing completely blue every two seconds. She said that when she's done watching whatever else is on it (namely, an episode of House), she's going to discard it, but I suggested that instead of simply tossing it, she throw it down and shatter it in order to vent her frustration (which she didn't actually show), or better yet, let me do it for her. Marie got off of AIM and jokingly told me to stop bothering Mom, and I got right off the next minute. Mom said that when she's done watching the tape, I could take it out back and hit it with a sledgehammer, but I told her I was thinking more in terms of "throwing it on the floor inside the house."
"No," she said. "Not where it could leave a dent and have pieces of plastic all over the floor."
"Or better yet," I continued, "on someone else's driveway."
"You're so mean."
"I'm kidding."
I then got up and went into the computer room and started spinning around on one foot, and then stopped and staggered around for a bit before landing on the armchair with my teeth clattering (which Marie noticed aloud). And finally, the last thing I said for the moment:
"Here's one thing you should say to the tape: FUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!"
Also, I started a VGMusic forum thread about The Furrysitter's Club at 5:15 PM last night, which collected 25 responses and got locked in the course of twenty-four hours (or to be exact, twenty-three hours and fifty minutes, as it was locked at 5:05 PM tonight. And this is the first time one of my topics on the forum got locked). I posted it mainly to see if there were any other babyfic fans on VGMusic, in hopes that they might give me suggestions for the fic, but there weren't any. Still, the whole thing was pretty god-damn funny as long as it lasted. (Details to come soon, if I get around to it before it's deleted.)
