dmxratedFound out yesterday morning that Brian and I had actually watched the first two episodes of the second season of The Irregular at Magic High School. We agreed upon last night to watch the actual beginning.

Brian and I ate lunch at Coram Diner yesterday, and aside from dessert, I wasn't all too crazy about what I ordered. The iced coffee wasn't very sweet like the kind Mom sometimes makes, even after putting two packets of sugar in it, and had too much ice in it to stir. I also went on to order a bison cheeseburger and a side of sautéed mushrooms; the burger was okay but didn't have any toppings besides the cheese, and the mushrooms only had some kind of sauce at the bottom of the bowl they were served in.
On his part, though, Brian ordered a glass of something called egg cream for his drink. I had a sip of that, and would like a whole glass of it sometime, and there are other things on the overall menu that I would like to try out.

Had a sore throat a week ago that I had since overcome. These past few days, though, I've had a cold, and just yesterday, a cough came on as well. The others were out sailing on a new boat my parents got recently, so I left a note before taking a dose each of some medicine I found for the respective symptoms.
I do tend to start drifting off to sleep whenever I lay on my bed for long enough, but this time, I was still tired even when I woke back up. By that point, I didn't feel like doing any more work for Starbound, so I took care of a few small things I had been meaning to, and then started a new game with Disgaea, just up through the tutorial, even sitting through the narration and all cutscenes, and going even further to talk to most of the NPCs, just to mark time until everyone would come back.
I was in the middle of the second tutorial stage by the time they did, came down to greet them, and Mom spoke to me about that note I left. She pointed out for me to read not just the directions, but also the active ingredients and possible side effects.
I went back up to finish up with the game, and then came back down to ask when dinner would be ready, specifying when Mom asked that I was mainly interested in watching that show with Brian. She told me that he's still gonna be here long enough today to watch an episode, and I decided then just to call things off with him for the evening.
