dmxratedMom stayed home from work yesterday due to a doctor's appointment Dad had in the morning, and then a class she had from 1:30 to 3:30.
For during the latter, she offered to bring me to Smithhaven Mall at 12:30. She dropped me off near Shake Shack, but I actually ate lunch in the bordering Chipotle, ordering some garlic guajillo steak bits that were advertised as new and some white rice with what appeared to be mint leaves or something. Shake Shack is where I ordered a snack, though, that being one of its limited-time shakes, salted chocolate toffee. (Will probably go there for lunch next time Mom drives me.)
Found my way to the mall from there, and spent half my time there looking at anime in f.y.e., before eventually deciding to wait until I find anything not to be available through Smartcast.
Went to Barnes & Noble, and ordered a flat-white cappucino at the Starbucks counter just to neutralize some of the sugar from that shake. Took a good few minutes to consume such a hot drink, but barely got to read a few pages of Rent-a-Girlfriend from there before Mom texted me to come meet her outside.
