Oct. 25th, 2022 06:42 amMom and I watched both of two remaining episodes of Mahoromatic, season 1, yesterday afternoon, after having not watched it over the weekend.
-----
A little while ago, I came across this YouTube compilation clip, showcasing the different opening and ending themes of some of Tatsunoko Productions' various anime from 1965-83. The thumbnail features five different girls in some gritty art style, but I wasn't able to find what I assumed to be the show in question within the video itself.

After getting no response since commenting to ask which show it was (rather than sit through a whole hour and a half just for that), I took it to Reddit yesterday, and someone specified them to be from all different shows. I guess it shouldn't surprise me that someone would want to draw up just one image to represent multiple shows for a clip like that.
-----
Another clip that one led to featured what I originally assumed were also various anime (i.e. from Japan itself), from the 1950s and '60s, long before the art style normally associated with the medium evolved into what it is today.

Just last night, I rewatched that clip more in depth, but stopped upon seeing the logo for Scooby-Doo Where Are You? (I did see one other show attributed to Hanna-Barbera, but assumed it created by some Japanese branch thereof.)
Went on to google "1960s anime dracula frankenstein wolfman", and found out here that at least some of them were in fact the Japanese opening themes given to various American cartoons, with the first show back from the video turning out to be The Impossibles. (No surprise there, coming from a Japanese YT account.)
