dmxratedHad an interview at King Kullen in Middle Island, and a prescription for Dad waiting at Costco, before Mom and I could hit La Margherita on our way home.
Between those first two things, Mom and I debated on what kind of pizza to order, for a change in pace from pepperoni. Having already looked up its menu, my first choice was white, but Mom told me that would be kind of bland. I then named a bunch of other flavors, most of which were topped with chicken, but Mom told me that they're basically meals unto themselves applied to pizza.
We then agreed upon a special pie, with pepperoni, meatballs, sausages, green peppers, onions, etc.
Honestly, I could've done without the peppers and onions. We had four slices left over, which we stored in my fridge, and since we still have three garlic knots and half a bottle of raspberry ginger ale, I think I'll just have a couple of slices for lunch today to supplement with those.
For dessert, Mom had gotten a box of rectangular cake bites in three different flavors. She had bought them from Trader Joe's, where she said she was originally going to buy me a chocolate ganache cake, which they didn't have this time.
Well, we do plan on celebrating my birthday all together once we all go on vacation next summer.
As for this year's gift, my parents and Marie each deposited $100 into my account.

Just heard back from Bilawal for the first time in four months, but only a greeting. Can't wait to hear whether or not he's actually done anything with Star Ocean.
