Slept back in the house two nights ago while Marie and Drew occupied the apartment. (Brian was back with the Maloneys, and Aunt Marie, Uncle Ray, and Cousin David stayed at a hotel.)

Went upstairs yesterday midday, when Marie and Drew were awake. While I did contact Muhammad and Kashif for updates the other day and have yet to hear back from them, someone named Samuel Oluyemi, who applied four months ago to create an LZSS compression program for Ozzy (since taken care of by two others), had gotten back to me. I told him that the job is over, he asked me if I'd have any more work for him, and I offered to let him ROMhack for me. (I did mention not wanting to conduct business right now, but I'll welcome this since he came to me and it's still just enough to tide me over, although I did ask to come up with a budget only once I receive and bank my first paycheck next week.)

I then treated Marie and Drew to episode 8 of Kanon, just to catch them up a bit with Aunt Marie (ep. 10).

Brian and Emily arrived back right after we came downstairs.

Upon arriving here in Greenport where we are spending this week on vacation, the first thing I realized was having forgotten to pack my swimclothes, having forgotten that there would even be a swimming pool and a beach here. It's a good thing Aunt Allison is staying at our house to come visit us here today; Mom agreed to ask her to fetch them for me, and I am also planning to ring her up just for in case she forgets.

The weather also proved inconducive for a swim, starting to rain not long after we arrived. Before it did, Mom and I simply had a dip in the pool, just up to our knees, and then we met some of the others on the beach just to look around.

During said time on the beach, Mom told me that the house we're staying at used to be a ranger station. I decided to climb up the tower and explore the surrounding catwalk, greeting several of the others each as I spotted them. Brian was the first to join me, but Emily is too scared of heights to have bothered. Drew also came up, but stayed on the inside as it started raining then.

Spent some time fiddling with the TV, located in a separate room from the dining/living room. While that one has Crunchyroll (unlike my own back home), I was unable to set any of several different shows to English, even when I made said change on my computer with David's account that I was using. The language settings only yield one audio option called "Unknown", and I decided from there that, since we even do have a much bigger TV screen than my desktop computer monitor to view Crunchyroll on, I might as well treat Mom, Marie, and Drew to Nyanko Days, which is only three minutes long per episode (12 episodes altogether) and has no English dub to begin with.

-----

For dessert tonight, Mom presented a rainbow cookie cake for Aunt Marie's birthday a few days late.

For breakfast, being the first one up as usual, I had some Lucky Charms that Mom bought for this trip. Kinda disappointing to see only pink and yellow balloons for marshmallows, even fewer than I googled it to have started its run with.
