dmxratedHad two interviews yesterday.
First one was supposedly for Staples in Patchogue at 11:10. Shortly after I arrived, though, someone told me that he didn't have one scheduled for then, and the position in question was already filled. I showed him the (automated) text exchange, and he said there must have been some kind of mistake, and took my name and phone number.

Second was at Stop & Shop in Holbrook at 4. Mom and I left almost two hours early so that she could tie in some shopping at Costco.
We still arrived half an hour early. I was already on file from before, and the interviewer emailed me a background check to show his boss tomorrow (today is his day off). As per Brian's advice, I would contact him on Saturday if I do not hear back from him, but last Monday is when we previously arranged for me to call him back after failing to return a call to someone else, so that will probably be when.
(Had I remembered that we'd be hitting one of the same places my bank is located, I would have brought $100 with me that Mom had paid me on Dad's behalf but suggested I not carry around, to deposit with so much time left before the time arranged. Well, short of any follow-up there, I guess that leaves me some spending money for Barnes & Noble or somewhere, although I'm probably not going to put it towards Magical Girl Raising Project. (Mom had asked me the other day if there is something I'd like for Christmas to read, something I didn't plan to bring up after already agreeing to something else she had offered.))

Shortly after we had left for that second interview, someone on Twitter had gotten back to me, who I had contacted around the same time as Kristina after having already seen a few videos of his (he specializes in lost media). I linked him to my own video after arriving back home.
