dmxratedHad two phone interviews today.
First one was supposed to be at 11, with Hallmark. My phone never rang for it, but then I received a text from the person supposed to interview me, saying that it went right to voicemail. I tried texting him back, but my messages somehow could not be delivered, nor did I hear anything when I tried calling back. Was able to email him back, though, and I gave him my home number (good thing my parents were in Manhattan for an operation for Dad). Bringing the house phone upstairs worked out.
The other one was supposed to be for 3:15, with Burlington. Once again, my phone never rang, and I needed the house phone to call the number listed in the email, despite being able to reach it by cell earlier on. The person who picked up said that he had no hiring managers available, but did accept both my numbers, but I never did hear from anyone.
If I end up going several weeks without hearing "unknown caller" on my phone, I might need a new phone if all else fails.
(Quite by coincidence, Doctor Eggman had also mentioned the other day, being unable to contact me directly without joining Lucky Star Shrine first, having received a message somehow that friend requests were disabled on my end. Saw nothing disabled in my Friend Requests setting when I looked into that.)
