Hired again.
Dec. 12th, 2023 06:56 amGot around yesterday to recording a hardware playthrough of Getter Love!!
One weird thing about playing through Video DVR is that the sound is delayed when I'm actually playing, but right in sync in the outputted video.
The whole thing was also outputted in two videos, probably since it went on for a whole two hours.

Went on to start uploading the first half, but at one point, our wi-fi went down. My upload was 15% complete by that point, and while I was having a nap at that time, Mom shouted to me to hit the gym then.
The light at Horseblock Road seemed to be malfunctioning, with its red lights facing Station Road blinking alternately with the yellow ones facing Horseblock. Traffic was being directed by a police officer stationed there.
Mom found me some new pairs of shoes in Savers to come in to try on while I was working out. The first two pairs felt nice, but the remaining one had these awkward square laces to tie, and felt slightly slippery at the toes. I decided to shelve that pair, but with those other two, I should be able soon to discard or donate two of my old pairs.
We also did some shopping at Stop&Shop after concluding our workout.
On our way home, the traffic situation was the same, and we were directed east before Mom saw someone make a U-turn and decided to follow suit to head the rest of the way down Station Road.
She also noticed the 7-Eleven there using its reserve power, although I didn't notice anything different.
Our wi-fi was still out when we arrived back home, and suffice to say, my upload hadn't progressed an inch. I decided then just to turn my computer off, but then saw Dad watching TV upon coming into the house.
Mom decided to heat up some dinner for me, and I took then to go back up to check my messages.
As I was already expecting, I now have an orientation at Walmart in Yaphank, for 9 on Friday. Was given some stuff to take care of in advance, but one email has asked me to bring some Workday credentials there that I was supposedly given (the colon actually preceded "[not available]", and I am going to call someone about that after I finish this entry).
(Having originally kept my options open for depending on where I'd start a new job and whatever's nearby, now would be a good time to spend my Dairy Queen points from before (along with my gift card) whenever possible, so that I can use up my points before deleting that app and letting them expire. (Dunkin' Donuts can still tie in with Bagel Lovers.))

This morning, I have tried my hand again with that upload, and it actually picked up where it left off yesterday, and is now at 30%.
Also took a few minutes to play this game celebrating Google's 25th anniversary, before having breakfast:
