dmxratedWe had a bit of a windstorm two nights ago, and Mom discovered one of the trees near Long Island Avenue to have snapped in half, thankfully onto our lawn instead of atop the power lines. She asked me while I was writing here if I had received any calls from Optimum Online, to which I said no.

During my last half-hour at work yesterday, my phone had somehow depleted from 65% all the way to 1%.
This is actually the second time these past few days this has happened; the first was the previous day, when I brought it with me to read Magical Girl Raising Project on our way home. My mind was actually full then, but I suppose it would've helped to turn it off, at least once we headed out (Mom did ring me for breakfast after I put it in my backpack).
Mom promised to look into buying me a new phone when I brought just this second time up with her.
