dmxratedMom and I finally got around yesterday afternoon to celebrating my new job and hitting Dairy Queen, to tie in with a couple of things she had to get at Lowe's. Following some debate beforehand, we agreed just to get ice cream, rather than a three-course meal for me.
With those points on my app, Mom and I agreed just to buy her a vanilla dipped cone for 200, with a remainder of 30. I then let her use her debit card and my gift card to buy me a Royal Reese's Fluffernutter Blizzard Treat.
We spent our whole time there discussing my phone situation, and observed the battery to deplete much faster when she had me access Me@Walmart or accessed Safari herself, than on the home screen or in the settings. She wondered if part of that could've had to do with my phone seeking a wi-fi connection for Me@Walmart, with its wheel still spinning even when I selected the DQ network while that on hers only took a second, and perhaps I should try selecting the store's network when I first arrive today.
