dmxratedBrian and Emily came over last night. They set up some kind of playset in the living room for Maris, that included some elastic seat in the middle for her to fit her legs through and bounce up and down in, and some kind of globe that plays various songs on different tribal instruments.
While we all watched her hop up and down, I at one point sang this song from a 1997 commercial for Singing Bouncy Baby that Brian back then modified the lyrics to as follows:
Bouncy, Bouncy Baby,
Likes to bounce on Mommy's knee,
When I bounce on Mommy's knee,
I go sizzle-sizzle-sizzle-sizzle-sizzle-sizzle-WHAA!

Mom's back hurt too much to bother making dinner, and Brian ordered us a pizza instead.
Emily went to her parents' house for the night. Brian slept in Marie's old bedroom.
Marie and Drew, meanwhile, are sleeping in the apartment for their stay here, and I am back in my old room for the time being.
