dmxratedManaged to show yesterday's blog to Mom, Brian, Uncle Robby, and Cousin Adam at different points yesterday morning. (Marie ultimately decided to read it on her phone at her own timing.)
Adam's turn wound up happening right before yesterday's main event, once he came down from the apartment where he and Rob slept for the night. He mentioned his brother Cameron, whose birthday we once celebrated, to have played Banjo-Kazooie before, which came out the year Adam was born.
Among other things, he also commented on my userpic, which for that entry depicts the Angry Video Game Nerd reviewing the Sega 32X (the actual shot is eight minutes in), and I pointed out that the previous entry's userpic depicts Kagami from Lucky Star, in the middle of a phone call with Konata that begins 6-1/2 minutes into episode 10. He mentioned having heard of the latter show back in high school but never watching it, and I mentioned having shown him and Rob episode 1 before. He then mentioned having seen one of my early videos before, and I clarified that it was actually just my previous main video, mostly about Getter Love!!, on Christmas Eve just a few months ago. Showed him that again before we all started getting ready to head out.

For my birthday this year, the seven of us went to this buffet called Lombardi's On the Bay for lunch.
Not gonna list everything I had, but as usual, I ate so much that I'd wind up with a stomachache for the ride home.
Rob and Adam had to leave after we arrived back home.
Needed two cups of tea at different points after having an initial nap. Also managed to perk myself up before my second with some fresh air when Mom sent me out to take care of the recycling and the birdfeeder.
Suffice to say, Mom didn't need to make dinner last night, and we didn't bother having a second cake that she had already baked during our preparations. Brian, Marie, and Maris just had some stuff of their own, such as cereal, French toast, and a grilled cheese or two.
