dmxratedReceived a link to a number of forms to fill out two days ago at noon. Didn't notice the due date until yesterday, although I did take care of some of them that evening in-between before opting to continue yesterday morning refreshed, and even then, I failed to notice that that's when I was actually supposed to begin working (Mom and I both assumed until this morning that an orientation would be scheduled after I submit everything).
Filling out the remaining forms was what I spent most of yesterday doing, and two in particular would get stuck trying to go through when I'd click Done; Mom offered to help me with those when she'd come home from work, but after she did come home, I accidentally solved the problem with one of them just by remaining on the form list for minutes on end while she was probably on the phone or something, after which I'd actually see some checkboxes load that originally failed to. That's what ended up working when I set things aside to watch out for someone picking up an air conditioner (got $20 in fives for helping him load it into his car).
The last main issues were getting two references (got Emily to help me with one later on, and then used Mom), and uploading some documents. For the latter, I originally tried uploading my state ID and social security card, having misinterpreted the instructions to require both one item from two different lists and one more from a separate list, but the webpage wouldn't let me upload more than one image, and an image containing both wouldn't go through even below the 10MB limit, even after I resized that to 50%. (Ended up uploading just my passport ID, one option under list A, which was the alternative to one item each from B and C, after Mom had a look and cleared things up).

Even though yesterday was supposed to be my first day at the job, assuming I haven't been written off for failing to start on time, postponing our night out for yesterday proved to be the right decision. Even though I only had some peanut butter and jelly for lunch, I still wound up full by the time we wrapped things up at Texas. Suffice to say, I would not have been able to eat as much as I did the day prior.
