Jun. 3rd, 2026 05:18 amGot a call yesterday from Superstar Beverages, and had an interview right thereover. We had arranged for me to come in on Friday for a tour, before whoever's responsible tries to find me some shifts.
Had an interview later at The Bristal Assisted Living, and was given some paperwork to fill out for a background check. Part of that included something for Mom to drop off with Dr. Mattimoe, and she was able to arrange a physical for Monday. (A slot for Friday morning was offered last night for the first person to claim that instead, but Mom could not take then off just for that.)
And tomorrow's working interview got rescheduled last night for 4:30. This should negate the already off chance to require a bus ride, since Mom is already home from work by that point, and less pressure on Brian or Emily to be available to drive me for in case Mom would not have been able otherwise to leave work early.
(If I get employed at The Bristal, and then somewhere else, I will give notice and remain there only for until I'm due to start working the other job. Suffice to say, Black Pearl, or anywhere else at Smithhaven Mall, would trump everything, including Superstar (right next to Coram Diner) and Lucky Strike Sayville, a bowling alley that I aforementionedly had to postpone Black Pearl last week for.)
