Yesterday, I was told that I already paid for my Psychology and Health classes, and was given two slips to show to my History and Economics teachers. Once that's taken care of, I'll have nothing else to worry about.

Before I went to Health, I noticed someone named Collin (or some 6-letter name beginning with a C) in the hall with a Nintendo DS. He was playing some Castlevania game, but when I asked what he was playing, he said he was just actually listening to music from that game. I then asked him if he had any other games for the DS. He told me he had some Mega Man game in the GBA slot. (I didn't bother reading the exact titles.) I asked him if he has any Pokemon games; he said that he doesn't have Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, although he does have Red and Blue for the original Game Boy. Actually, the fact that he doesn't have Diamond or Pearl spares me the trouble of arranging an appointment with him that he might not actually attend.

(Speaking of game-related appointments, what I tried to do last year concerning Pokemon Sapphire... I didn't just happen to find someone with a Game Boy Advance. I asked various people, especially in the cafeteria, but I made a white lie so that Mom would spare me some lecture about how I'd look by doing so.)

Translating something from Japanese is a pain in the ass, but I must keep going if only to write a translation patch for Makeruna Makendou. I was able to decipher some words and kanji characters, but most of it is still an enigma. In fact, when I told Brian about it, he even suggested that I make up my own story to go along with that game. Actually, that might explain exactly why Seta changed the story completely when the game was released in America as Kendo Rage: to spare themselves the trouble of actually translating it, especially since there isn't much of a plot to follow along with anyway. Since that's already been done and there are people who want to see a translation of the original story, and if one of my goals is to help TheNewX bring more attention to the Makeruna Makendou series, then a genuine translation is more likely to get more hits than just another made-up story.

Before going to bed, I asked on the ROMhacking.net message board how I can make ISOs readable by consoles or Magic Engine FX. So far, I've gotten three responses, but was unable to quite understand them. I'll have a closer look at them later today.
