Mar. 20th, 2008 05:37 amYesterday morning, our computer was running very, very slowly. It took forever to do *anything*, and I was unable to access Ebay at all. I had to wait for Brian to wake up, but when he looked into it, all he had to do was restart the computer. What happened wasn't from a virus at all; it was from leaving Daemon Tools running overnight.
The sound quality in Makeruna! Makendou Z is just crap when playing it on Magic Engine FX. Well, TheNewX did warn me that it wouldn't be as good as playing a real copy. Maybe it is worth translating the text, but I'm not sure if I wanna play it until I can do so with maximum sound quality. Someone mentioned that PC-FX ISOs are not even as easy to reconstruct as Playstation or Saturn ISOs, and if it's just as horrible on Mednafen as it is on MEFX, then that means that no one will be able to play the game and enjoy an American fandub at the same time.
Wanna know what also sucks? That guy who ran that PC-FX auction with every single game ran a previous auction with all the same stuff, and he got positive feedback in both auctions. He now has 16 positive and two negative feedbacks, and I could have trusted him even though I only had $150 in the bank. I don't know if he will be back to with a third PC-FX auction, and it will probably be years before Makeruna! Makendou Z becomes available (if ever). It took almost three years after I bought the Mon Colle Knights game from Ebay before another copy became available there. (Funny, isn't it? There are lots of different PC-FX games available on Ebay, and not a single one of them is Makeruna! Makendou Z.)
