Gotta remember to use my lesser-used icons wherever appropriate. I did change those of a few recent entries: One to Link (originally Kagami), one to Natsuki (originally Ellen), and two to the Ultimate Girls.

For this entry, any of the following six pics would work: Sugar, Natsuki, the Ultimate Girls, Kagami, Nayuki, or the Angry Video Game Nerd. Usually, though, when multiple topics are used in the same entry that would warrant a different pic, they cancel each other out, and I just go with Mai (default).

Mom got a box of chocolate-flavored, mini-sized Frosted Mini-Wheats. She has bought boxes of regular Frosted Mini-Wheats before, but I never really cared for that much. However, whenever I eat a spoonful of this special kind, it feels and tastes like there are teeny-tiny chocolate chips in each bit.

Did a lot of physical work yesterday. Most of it was sawing up that tree I took down, but I also had to fill the hole back in and split the segments with the ax. Mom had suggested that morning before she left for work, that we go for a walk in Bellport when she gets home, but I wasn't up for it by the time she got home, and she didn't even bring it up. Nor was I in the mood to write more of the MCC prologue or do pretty much anything else. In fact, I showered off and changed into my pajamas at around 4:00 in the afternoon.

Got two versions of a commission from Nanashi-no, of Saga (from A Little Snow Fairy Sugar), bikini-clad, shaking her butt. She's also supposed to be a giantess, but there's really not enough proof of that in either version.

I had actually received this edition before writing yesterday's blog entry. The reason I didn't mention it then (and I also told Chelle this when I asked her to critique it) was because of the aforementioned lack of proof of her size. That yellow thing beside her is clearly a parasol, and the fact that it doesn't look small enough to convey her as gigantic (well, at least not as tall as I wanted her to be).

Version 2: http://dmxrated.deviantart.com/#/d3b76it

Okay, so it's slightly better. Her fists are positioned the way I wanted them this time, but I do have different complaints for this one.

For one thing, even though the starfish looks tiny, those three things in the background still aren't small enough to convey her size. If by any chance you do perceive her as having grown many times her normal size, that would logically make Sugar (not in the original pic) a giantess as well (at least by fairy standards).

Also, I wish Nanashi hadn't changed Saga's bikini design to match some pics I had shown her, which I hoped would demonstrate my desired size ratio between her and normal-sized humans (normally that between her and the fairies).

Unfortunately, Nanashi told me she had lost the PSD file, and would have to start over to fulfill all criteria. I settled for it and gave her 20 bonus points out of 30 (on top of the regular 200-point fee). Hey, at least she got the half of it. I have already asked much the same thing of Haruhi's pic, I have another Saga pic being worked on by someone else, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Milfeulle's pic will look like.

(As for Chelle's opinion, the only flaw she found was a twisted arm in the first edition. Apparently, she didn't even think that her bikini bottom was by any means crooked. Oh well. I any case, I am so gonna come back to Nanashi-no every now and then for pics I might deem special enough.)

Yesterday was Pancake Day, and Mom had bought some squeezing oranges in anticipation. We had some pancakes and cornbread for dinner last night.

Turns out that Chip-chan Kick isn't the only problematic game upon downloading. Apparently, this is true with most games for the PC-FX. Out of all the ones I had downloaded onto my Mac last night, only four (including Makeruna! Makendou Z) could be unloaded. (What a coincidence that that one game, the one I desperately wanted to play on an emulator three years ago, happened to be a working one.)

To be fair, though, I only worked with a handful of games out of the system's entire library. For the most part, I didn't bother with second or third download attempts with any games which I was first led to a "403 - Forbidden" page. I just figured, as long as I have enough to reach a conclusion with, then that's all that matters. I should note, though, that the aforementioned page was just random. On the one hand, I did get it during last night's attempt to download CCK, even though I did manage to download it before. On the other hand, I was able to download Kishin Douji Zenki: Vajura Fight in particular on a later second attempt, and even successfully unloaded it into a folder I had created for the ISOs.

Not sure what the deal is here. Why can I download some FX games and archive them somewhere on my Mac, but not most for the same system? I doubt it's the way they're set up, or that it has anything to do with the site (since even downloading CCK from Rapidshare or Emuparadise yields the same results as from DopeROMs). I could also try downloading 32X ROMs to see how many of those are or aren't problematic, and determine whether it's the site or the difference between ROMs and ISOs.

For now, though, I think I'll give it a rest and wait for Brian to come home, and then see what happens when I try to download an FX ISO onto our PC.
