Anyway, yesterday, Mom was on the phone with Dad, and I overheard her ask him if he's familiar with Penny Arcade, "the comic strip with the two guys that Eric reads". When she got off the phone, she explained that someone who came to look at the apartment had been (or is going to; don't remember exactly) something called Penny Arcade Expo in Boston. I told her that I've heard of that, having read a few references to it on Bulbanews, an AVGN blog entry, and even within the webcomic itself.
I told her that I had actually stopped reading it almost half a year ago, but might pick up from where I left off sometime in the future.
