Apr. 9th, 2012 07:47 amTwo nights ago, Mom and Dad tuned in to part of the 1956 version of The Ten Commandments while watching TV, and I joined to watch part of it. Having only watched part of it, I didn't really figure out who was who for the most part. However, Mom complained that one would think that the slavedrivers would have knives to stop someone who was running past them. I told her and Dad that that's exactly the point I brought up when we were watching Commando two months ago.

As far as Ebay auctions go, Jake has won the following items on Ebay:
-my Pokemon Red/Blue player's guide ($10.00)
-my Pokemon Ranger player's guide ($10.00
-Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (w/ player's guide; $21.05)
-my Rumble Pak ($5.00)
-one of my e-Readers w/ the Celebi trading card. ($10.00)
Total: $56.05
For his purchases and the five people he bade against, I've given him a bowtie and sunglasses for his llama and three cake badges (and I was also the first person to give him a llama badge last Tuesday). Would have given him one month worth of premium membership instead, but having known him and seeing how little he seems to use his DeviantArt account, it would seem like a waste to give him something he probably won't have any use for and which expires after a set amount of time. At least badges are permanent. (By the way, Jake, be sure to actually equip your llama with the two accessories, okay?)
Also, since I've previously owed him $33 for the Parasitic Trio chapter and four pages of the fic I requested years ago on AdultFanFiction.net, he will now owe me $22.95 worth of pages. No deadline, though; I'll have the first chapter of Jamie's fic ready whenever I decide to continue working on Parasitic Trio whenever I decide to continue with the ficseries, and by the time he works it off, hopefully, I should be able to pay him normally.
Moving on, my recent friend John has bought the following items:
-Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire ($10.00)
-my Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs player's guide ($10.00)
-my Bad Piggy plushie ($5.00)
His total (not counting shipping fees): $25.00
Reward: First llama badge (last Tuesday), sunglasses, and bowtie.
And, the only remaining item that sold was Super Mario 64, for $11.00. If the person who bought it has a DeviantArt account, they will earn a pair of sunglasses and a bowtie for their llama (along with his first llama badge last Tuesday, for having bid). Will ask when I give everyone their tracking numbers.
