Aug. 26th, 2012 07:00 amYesterday was filled right up with activity, since Mom and Brian both had a few places to go and I decided to go with them.
First stop was to drop Brian off somewhere in Patchogue for a haircut, while Mom and I went to Dad's shop to fetch his mail and feed the cats there. Mom also had me sweep the sawdust into piles and dispose of it.
Next, after picking Brian back up, was to Costco to get a new jacket for him and a new sweater for me. I also picked up a box of Special K while we were there.
And then, to the Smithhaven Mall, where we spent the most time before coming home. The first half of our time there was mainly for him to get my laptop repaired at Apple. While he was doing that, I went to FYE to look at anime. Made another list like the one I made at Kinokunia half a year ago, and then bought Air (the complete series) and volume 1 each of Ultra Maniac and Doki Doki School Hours, all of which were on sale for $10 apiece.
Mom and Brian just so happened to be finished when I called them after paying for my stuff. Met them in the hallway, and we decided that I'd go have lunch at the food court, while Brian shopped around for some games at Gamestop. I gave them my stuff for them to hang onto until we regrouped.
For lunch, I ordered a Stromboli, two garlic breadsticks, and a bottle of pink Brisk at the pizza corner. Ate all but the last few bites of the first of those, and only one bite from one breadstick, before deciding I was full. Once again, it just so happened to be then that Mom and Brian spotted me after having finished shopping around, and I just brought everything I had left over home in case they wanted to eat any of it.
Turned out when we got home that Brian had bought Final Fantasy XII and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Noticed them in the same bag that I had my DVDs packed into, and at first thought they were bonuses, but then Mom told me they were Brian's, and I'm thinking "Of course..."
Not long afterwards, Mom and I drove to Target to pick up ice cream and a few other things. Not much to say about there, although I sure was in the mood for some after having eaten what I had for lunch.
Later on before dinner, the three of us and Dad drove to the beach for a bit. Not much to say there either.
Wasn't really hungry when we had dinner. Only had two pieces of garlic bread, while everyone else had linguine and clams. Did have a small bowl of ice cream for dessert, though, just to cool my mouth off.

Mom and Dad have driven Brian to the airport only a few hours ago. I'm home all by myself right now, so I think I'll start watching one of my things after I fix myself up for the morning.
