Sep. 4th, 2023 07:33 amYesterday morning, having pondered some kind of backup plan for Starbound's story the other day, and particularly the time-sensitive arcs, I retrieved one of those Tintin books that I had gotten Dad for Christmas two years ago, The Shooting Star. Only managed to read the first act, though, before doing other things for the rest of the day.

My phone seemed to be depleting faster than usual up until this morning.
Two days ago, I was doing some stuff on it, and noticed it slide down past 70% while reading a total of 46 long-unread messages on two different apps.
Yesterday, after having started work at 12, I noticed it already just above 50% when I took my lunch break at 3:22 (actually a donut and a latte for a snack), and just below when I had the clerk scan my Dunkin' app. By the time I clocked out at around 5:15, it was down to 22%, and I had to turn the screen off until Mom and I could plug it back in back home.
This morning, though, I woke up at around 5:30, unplugged it, went back to bed for another hour, and found it still at 100% when I checked back on it. (Also checked the battery settings afterwards, and set it to Low Power mode.)
Dunno what happened, but I had noticed some kind of message to show Mom, about getting the battery replaced when she comes home with Dad from a hospital visit.
