Apr. 1st, 2024 07:21 amYesterday morning before work, Mom suggested I bring down that candy sushi to put into Marie's Easter basket (which she's sharing with Dad this year), since she likes sour candy. Took her up on that, and also brought that taco down to put into my own basket.

Today, we had another half day, only we had the periods that we didn’t have yesterday. In Health, we watched a video where someone is teaching his class about drugs, and meanwhile, another person is doing everything to get in the classroom.

For some reason, it occurred to me just these past couple of days to look around for the video in question. Yesterday during my lunch break, I pulled up TV Tropes: The Aggressive Drug Dealer on my phone, that being what the first of three animated segments played specifically to discredit as one of various scare-'em-straight exaggeration tactics that were so common a whole decade earlier when it first came out (the line "Take it, or we'll hate you forever!" was actually what I remembered the most), and found its example under Advertising.
Pulled the video itself up on YouTube upon arriving home, and the actual title turns out to be Straight At Ya (must've forgotten that detail ever since, assuming Mr. Westberg hadn't skipped past it to cut to the content).

Not sure why I didn't look for that back when I hosted Co7G on LiveJournal in 2009, despite looking for other things that came up during that time. Maybe I didn't think it would be possible, but I might add the above link retroactively whenever I host my Getter Love!! walkthrough, since I did hyperlink from the foreword there to the first blog entry where I hosted Co7G.
(I do recall Mr. Westberg putting it on again later in the year, but that was one of those things whose exact date I didn't commit to memory back in the day.)
