Oct. 2nd, 2024 06:04 amSyed, the person writing that Asuka fanfic, has agreed to revise any other stories to date that I am not satisfied enough with to host online, if their original authors are no longer available to do so by the time I get around to digging them back up. That came up yesterday, after he agreed to retcon one detail from his story's first chapter after establishing something in the third that he showed me the previous evening.
-----
Coming home late last night, Mom asked me if I'd like her to reheat some chili when she'd come home in what she expected to be half an hour. At one point, we debated whether to reheat some leftover rice to go with it or make some fresh, and I went with the former. She tried to give me some instructions on how to reheat the rice we had inside our rice cooker, but kept breaking up on me, and all I could glean off was to put a tablespoon of water in with it. She said she'd talk to me when she's in the car and has better reception, but I eventually just put everything together.
At some point, she called me back to let me know that she was getting a pizza, but I told her I already had that chili in the microwave. She then settled for bringing me a vanilla bean milkshake for dessert. (Turned out to be from Starbucks, after the cream failed to taste like anything, and we agreed that McDonald's tends to sell better shakes in general.)
