dmxratedBrian and Emily made their way here right after I attempted to call Mom regarding a Starbucks interview I was negotiating a time slot with, and Mom returned my call right then and there. She suggested that I schedule it for today between 2 and 4. Right after that call ended, just as I was about to get back to Carmine, someone called from The Bristal to request an appointment for 1 today, and while Brian had just gone outside, I successfully asked Emily if she could drive me there then. (Mom later told us that she'll try to get off from work early today to drive me instead.)
Carmine went on to agree to meet me at 4 today. Given The Bristal's proximity to the branch in question, though, I specified that appointment to him and asked if it would be alright to meet him early, and he gave me a phone number for such an event, in case he's in a meeting at that time.

Shortly thereafter, I went upstairs, and Maris was crying. Brian asked me to look for this wooden and plastic Brio train set that she likes to play with (something I used to as a child, and that probably predates me by decades), but I couldn't find that (Mom eventually retrieved it from the attic, where she had put it recently). She declined a nap, and we decided to take her to a new playground in Patchogue (not that far from Lombardi's, in fact).
During the ride there, Brian decided to grab a drink at Dunkin' Donuts. Since he offered me one as well, I asked for a Coffee Chiller (meant to get the Oreo-flavored kind shown on the menu).
Further en route, we stopped at a McDonald's, and Brian ordered Emily and Maris a Chicken McNugget Happy Meal. Maris must've been hungry that whole time, because she did calm down after having a quick bite.
During our time there, Emily went up to this ice cream truck, and called me over to offer me some as well. Got a cup of Oreo ice cream.

An hour after we returned home, Mom drove me to the mall for that working interview. She wound up taking some kind of detour this time due to traffic, and showed me where she went to grade school (Cayuga Elementary School) and the nearby street she lived down back then.
She then went to Costco just nearby after dropping me off.
Even though I was texted that this would last 20-30 minutes, it seemed barely like five as the person training me simply showed me how to put a drink together. Texted Mom to come pick me up whenever she'd be ready, and barely had time to look around in Barnes & Noble before she instructed me to meet her near Dick's Sporting Goods.

Between arriving back home and dinner, I finally managed to show Emily my brunette-girl video already six months old now. Brian was also there with us.

Emily decided to take Maris to spend the night at her parents' house. With them gone, I decided to show Brian three episodes of Goblin Slayer, something I already mentioned they cannot feasibly sit through. Mom also got to see a few bits and pieces; having forgotten certain details from two years ago, this contextualized certain things for her from season 2.
Here is where I first mentioned it in relation to them, and the reason therefor. (Regarding the following section, though, I did change this blog's skin to Beach Hut a few weeks later.)
