dmxratedThis past weekend has been particularly busy, with Mom needing my help straigtening the house up and clearing the office out in preparation for Jeff et al to finish renovating the office in Dad's place. Part of that also involved mowing our entire lawn in sections in the morning and afternoon, when the sun wasn't at its hottest.
I received the game on Saturday, but as it turns out, my PS2 plug is no longer in the bin where I had kept the Playstation 2 itself that I haven't used for years on end, or anywhere else it would have any reason to wind up. Bought a replacement for just $8, but that being Saturday afternoon, that has not even been shipped out yet.
Yesterday morning involved a test drive to see how far the Mt. Sinai location where my orientation will be held is to drive home tomorrow. Mom also had a second dehumidifier to our own to pick up at a nearby condominium complex first, and we also stopped at a Trader Joe's store just down the street afterwards to pick up some stuff to bring for lunch tomorrow and Wednesday.
Took my downstairs desktop apart late in the afternoon to bring upstairs, and am typing this up in bed on my laptop. Mom and I were going to take the desk apart to bring into the boathouse, but Mom absolved me of that; apparently, the electricians have agreed to take care of that themselves.
And finally, to preface this, I had declined to bring my upstairs computer down, partly because I didn't want to leave Brian with one that randomly freezes every now and then (that actually happened the other day just as I was about to finish up a Reddit post that I will probably try again on my laptop whenever I get back to that; not frequent enough to consider a big deal otherwise). Having since lost the kind of momentum with Earthbound that kept me putting Jonathan's work on Kiratto Kaiketsu! off to look over, I will probably look over that on Thursday or Friday, when I'll have a much greater block of time before work than tomorrow or Wednesday to look stuff over in one session (no telling how much help Mom's gonna need today when she comes home from a short day at work for the electricians to meet). (Having finally landed a job at all, I am probably going to pay Jonathan to wrap things up with Earthbound for me once I take care of Kiratto Kaiketsu!, and also look over some files I downloaded from GitHub. Frankly, I'm getting tired of always thinking I'm just about there, just for another issue to surface, and with a job about to eat time up that I would've previously spent figuring shit out personally just to pinch pennies, I would like just to get this over with once and for all, even after my channel gets up and running again with such a previously unplanned video as currently hinging on Dark Cloud.)
