Upon picking me up, Mom asked me to verify with Mikayla whether or not the actual job is supposed to begin today. Attempted a phone call while she ran into Trader Joe's, but she wasn't there to pick up. Called back, and the person who actually attempted to put me in touch with her went on to take my name and phone number.

Called back later, and she put me on instead with Patrick, who told me that I'm supposed to begin next Tuesday.
